About Me
I recently graduated from BYU-Idaho. I finished my degree completely online, which came with its own set of challenges and rewards. My husband and I met at BYU-Idaho and have been married for eight years. We have four children, three boys and a girl, ages 10, 9, 7 and 6.
I like to say I "mostly" stay home with my four children, because it seems like I've always got some sort of freelance or contract work, part-time school, or other projects going. I mainly work within writing and design, so I have experience in writing, graphic design, photography and computer illustration, as well as product promotion, social media, and education. I like to incorporate those skills into my crafting hobbies and I have a wide range of interests, from scrapbooking to cake decorating. Whether I'm designing my own sewing patterns or clicking the shutter on my camera, I thrive on the process of creation.
This website is set up as a portfolio for the type of work I do best. Feel free to explore and I'd love to hear from you!

Professional Accomplishments
I am the author of Journaling Your Stories, published by Northridge Media in 2007. I also wrote a column for Scrapbook Trends, called One Amazing Album, then Stories to Tell, which ran consecutively for 41 months. Awards I've won include finalist in the 2005 Memory Makers Masters contest and a winner of the 2006 scrapbook.com's "10K Contest." My work as appeared as samples on QVC, HSN and the Provo Craft Cricut infomercial. Since then, I've been developing a personal website, designing digital scrapbook kits and hosting a webcast.
